But the Immortals are growing restless, and time is running out.

The Champions series is a Young Adult fantasy series that follows seventeen-year-old best friends April and Kyle as they are thrown into the final battle of the Titan and Olympian war.

The Olympians and Titans have been at war for control over the world and each other since time began. However, neither group can claim victory because none among their number can die and imprisonment has been found to offer only a fleeting solution. The single point on which the Immortals agree is that they need a way to decide which group wins, so that both groups can agree once and for all who should rule for the rest of eternity. And their war would end. In a combined effort that took years to forge, the Titans and Olympians have created and sent out magical Flames – red, blue, yellow, and green – that will give four human teenagers Immortal-like powers, based on control over the elements.

Champions: at fire’s end begins after the Immortals have left their battlefield and forged an uneasy truce that sees each group send forth a pair of champions to contest the war amongst themselves. The difference – their champions are mortal and can therefore bring a definitive end to their struggle. Whichever pair of champions defeat the others first claims victory for the Immortal faction that they represent.
